Non Warranty Conditions

1. The product being returned lies outside the warranty period.

2. The product has been damaged beyond normal circumstances.

3. The item has been used for purposes not intended with its operation.

4. Installation of another operating system other than that supplied at the time of purchase.

5. Third party purchases, customers of indirect component vendors.

6. System corruption after a device has been installed.

7. The product has been modified in any way, electronically and via the use of microcode.

8. Product returned without a valid receipt/s.

9. Repairs to the product by the customer or product taken to "Third parties for repair and attempted repair/s, with or without the express knowledge of "Computer Options And Salvage and its employees.

10. Removal Of any Serial Numbers placed on the Item in any position.

11. Over clocking of any CPU purchased from Computer Options And Salvage

12. Any Viruses discovered on the machine, subject to our antivirus tests.

13. Accidental removal of keys from the keyboard.

14. All batteries fitted to machines which have been described as second user machines and not new have no warranty attached whatsoever, they are considered consumable items and are such the responsibility of the purchaser.

"Computer Options And Salvage" and its employees shall not be liable for and advice given to prospective purchasers, and the consequences suffered, any costs of any third parties if any, by any information given in good faith to customers, friends of customers or "advisors" to customers. Nor can the affects of product failure lead us to be liable.

Batteries Fitted To Laptops

Any battery fitted to a second hand laptop that has been warranted by us carries no warranty on the main battery, and the internal CMOS battery, these items are considered consumable items are are solely the responsibility of the purchaser.
At the point of sale any life that the battery holds will be pointed out to the purchaser but there are no guarantees that the battery will perform in respect against a new fresh battery and times quoted are approximate and will depend on the user and the software running at that time and the machines ability to charge the battery properly.
For laptops sold as new and unopened the manufacturer is solely responsible for any warranty claim, but please be aware that most manufacturers have a limited warranty in place for these items.
No claims will be entertained as revealed by the above if a battery fails or does not live up to expectation and no replacements or new batteries will be offered.
